AUNT BLANCHE WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON WHO WAS LOVED BY ALL AGES...
SHE MADE EVERYONE FEEL SPECIAL AND LOVED. SHE WAS A GREAT COOK, AS WELL AS OTHERS IN MY FAMILY. SHE SHARED WHATEVER SHE HAD WITH THE NEEDY, WHETHER IT WAS FOOD OR CLOTHES OR A MUCH NEEDED RIDE TO THE DOCTOR OR GROCERY STORE. AUNT BLANCHE WAS A GODLY WOMAN AND I LOVED HER VERY MUCH.
"COCONUT PIE"....1 1/2 cups of sugar, 3 eggs, 1 can of evaporated milk, 1 1/2 cups of coconut, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1 Tablespoon of butter. Mix together and pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
'BROWNIES"....2 cups of sugar, 1 stick of melted margerine, 4 eggs, 1 cup of self rising flour, 1/2 cup of cocoa, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup of chopped nuts......Mix together and pour into a pan sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 15-20 minutes.
