"GREAT GRANDMOTHER'S ROLLING PIN"


I baked tea cakes, today, using great grandmother's rolling pin and grandmother's (Agnes Garner) recipe.


TEA CAKE COOKIES
2/3 cup of butter
1 cup of granulated sugar
2 eggs
21/2 cups of self-rising flour
1 teaspoon vanilla


Roll out on a floured board and cut out round tea cakes.
Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 5 minutes.

Grandma's Tea Cakes

Stick  together with your favorite  chocolate icing.
